Keeping Terror at Bay

Everybody I know is so tense right now! I think everyone is feeling the terror of the possibilities for the economy.

Organizations? You can’t even get people to talk. No one is making decisions. Choices and commitments? Reneging. They’re reneging. Some of them are making decisions that they think will save them money that will cost them more in the long run! They’re avoiding the work that they need to do to increase the health of their cultures so they can increase retention, morale, and productivity.

Workers? Oh yeah, they finally wised up to being asked to work above and beyond. They actually want to be paid for what they do--like the mandatory meetings when they’ve been scheduled off, or the cross-training to compensate for inadequate staffing, or the overtime they won’t get paid for.

Small businesses like ours? We know people need us, and we know they’re scared. We know individuals need what we offer, too. Trauma makes the terror of “right now” even worse.

We can, and we will help you calm and re-regulate, so you can make the choices you need to make with more access to your whole brain and all your faculties. You deserve it, and so do your customers.
