We need to be more... Elastic

We need to be more... Elastic

Resilience is about our ability to bend and return--the act of bending uses very specific "muscles" that only get used when we are challenged.

If you're an athlete, you know about working out to the point of fatigue, and then focusing on "recovery." It's a period of rest that, coupled with good nutrition, builds the greatest level of strength and stamina.

Trees on a windy treeline bend and return, and as the prevailing wind continues, they adapt as they grow. They lean in the direction of the wind, and develop branches that grow longer in that direction. If the wind changed direction for a couple of years, you'd see the tree realigning its' growth.

These are forms of elasticity that matter. How Elastic are you? Are you brittle, getting stirred up easily and breaking when the least thing happens? Could you stand to be a little more elastic yourself?  Yes?
